The Washington Farm Bureau Health Care Trust was established to assure access to health care by small businesses with an emphasis on the agricultural sector. In the late ‘90’s Ranchers and Farmers were discriminated against as a result of insurance companies narrowing their definition of small business. The Washington Farm Bureau stepped into the breach to assure our members and small businesses were allowed equal access to group coverage and not relegated to individual health care policies. The Trust formed an agreement with a health care insurance company and has never looked back. It offers 14 different health care plans, and options for vision, dental and life insurance.
